Thresholds is a symphonic tone poem conceived as a study in orchestral contrasts between dense timbral blocks and lyrical solo trajectories across low woodwinds and muted brass.
The full orchestral canvas investigates microtonal layering in divided strings alongside an expansive pitched and unpitched percussion section sustaining the rhythmic architecture of the central episode.
